Biographical Information
MICHAEL NOWICK
PRESIDENT
Michael Nowick is the President of the Minnesota Telecom
Alliance, an organization that was known as the
Minnesota Telephone Association until March 2003. The
Association represents the interests of 100+ landline
and wireless telephone companies that provide incumbent
and competitive telecommunications services throughout
the state.
Mr. Nowick became the MTA's chief operating officer in
January, 1987. He held other positions within the
Association prior to then.
Mr. Nowick is a native of Stockholm, South Dakota, where
his family owns and operates SS Telecom, a full-service
telecommunications company that provides voice,
high-speed data, video and cable television services to
2,000 customers. He is a director of the company.
Mr. Nowick received his bachelor of arts degree from
Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.
