The MTA has five categories of membership.
Active
Members:
Telecommunications providers of local
publicly-switched telecommunications services in any form over a facilities-based
wireline network that is at least partly owned by the provider.
Affiliate
Members:
Telecommunications providers from
neighboring states.
Associate
Members:
Suppliers or vendors to the Minnesota
telecommunications industry.
Telecommunications Carrier
Members:
Providers of publicly-switched
telecommunications services which interconnect with other telecommunications
companies.
Wireless
Members:
Providers of publicly-switched
telecommunications services through wireless technology which interconnects
with other telecommunications companies.
