Road rage is aggressive or angry behavior by a driver of an automobile and is a growing problem on our roadways. Such behavior might include rude gestures, verbal insults, deliberately driving in an unsafe or threatening manner, or making threats. Road rage can lead to altercations, assaults, and collisions that could result in injuries or even death. Because situations can escalate quickly we reviewed the stimuli which can cause road rage and how to remain calm to prevent potential confrontations.
