TE Connectivity

Track #1: Realizing More Services and Revenue Over PON

New technologies and equipment innovations are presenting opportunities for generating additional revenue streams from an existing passive optical network (PON) architecture. This session will explore strategies for incorporating devices such as distributed antenna systems (DAS), HD security cameras, WiFi, small cells and more to existing PON architectures.

Track #2: Integrating Managed Connectivity Solutions into Today’s Networks

Physical layer management (PLM) systems provide real-time complete visibility into the physical state of the network and are far more powerful when integrated with other network management applications. The presenter will define PLM systems, discuss how they can use standard APIs and give examples of how these solutions improve visibility and network management efficiency.
